Tassar Khadi Weavers Samitti is nation-wide network of volunteers who spread awareness about heritage, prevent act likely to degrade their region’s cultural and natural wealth and act positively to preserve and enhance local heritage. Tassar Khadi Weavers Samitti today is the nation’s foremost and largest non-government organization working in the field of artisans, weavers and spinner. The “Tassar Khadi Weavers Samitti mission is to bring knowledge, life skills and linkages to massive numbers of poor rural women to build future of health, hope and dignity for themselves and their families. Embroidery, Appliqué work, Handwork, Wall hanging, Tie-dye, Hand Printing is the work done in its head office in the historic place at Bhagalpur. Bhagalpur is world-wide famous for Silk and known a “Silk City”. The organization is mainly doing embroidery, appliqué work, Tie-dye, Hand Printing and Wall hanging on silk fabric. The products developed by the artisans of organization sales into several Bhawan all over India, Exporters, Exhibition etc. The products developed by the organization are also sale to resource person of Bihar. Beside this training and awareness programme is also done by us, the project activities work by community who are living below to poverty line (BPL). All artisans belong to minority
